Local 1914 Wiscsonsin State Employees Union Membership Dues Structure
New Wisconsin legislation eliminates employer deductions of union dues from paychecks of public employees. Membership represenation and dues are voluntary.
Effective July 2011, voluntary dues are $16 per paycheck if you earn less than $13 per hour; dues are $18 per paycheck if you earn more than $13 per hour.
Effective 3 September 2011, only members who pay dues are represented by Local 1914. Contact an officer
or steward or Council 24 for options available to continue to support efforts to keep your Union and Council strong and funded.
Membership strength is key to take back and protect our rights as workers and regain our voice at work.
Currently, Local 1914 operates on $ 5.00 per member each month. The annual budget is being revised due to our diminished resources.
The Greater West Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO per caps each month is $ .31.
AFSCME Council 24 per caps each month is $12.20.
AFSCME International per caps each month is $18.80.
The Wisconsin State Employees Union is a member of the Amercian Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 24, AFL-CIO.
